Vallourec Secures Contract to Supply 26,000 Tonnes of Tubing for Azule Energy in Angola
Vallourec has been selected by Azule Energy, a joint venture formed by Eni and BP, to supply over 26,000 tonnes of seamless tubes for the development of the Greater PAJ field, located in deep waters off the coast of Angola.
The contract involves the delivery of seamless carbon steel tubes for the Greater PAJ project, situated approximately 200 kilometers off the Angolan coast, at depths ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 meters. Vallourec will provide pipeline solutions for production lines, service lines, water injection, and gas export, totaling about 210 kilometers of pipeline. The project encompasses the development of five offshore fields: Palas, Astraea, Juno, Dione, and Urano. These pipelines will support the critical infrastructure required for the safe and efficient production and transportation of hydrocarbons in these ultra-deep water conditions.
