MHRA Revokes Ixchiq Authorization in the United Kingdom
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the British authority regulating medicines and health products, has revoked the marketing authorization for Ixchiq in the United Kingdom. Ixchiq is Valneva's vaccine against chikungunya.
The decision comes following the work of the CHM, which focused on the use of the vaccine in travelers. Valneva made this revocation public through a press release, distributed in English and French.
