Veolia Share Falls 2.35%, Down 15.65% Over the Quarter
The environmental services group is retreating sharply in a declining Paris market. After a few sessions of recovery, the stock is falling back near its medium-term moving averages.
A 2.35% Decline That Erases Part of the Recent Rebound
The Veolia share loses 2.35% to €31.64 during the session, while the CAC 40 falls 1.38% and the SBF 120 1.37%. It ranks in the lower part of the CAC 40 standings, in a session marked by weekend violence and tension over French debt. The ten-year OAT is at 4.85%, 5 basis points from its recent peak.
Over one week, the value retains a gain of 1.77%, but remains down 15.65% over three months. This decline comes after a series of gaining sessions in October, which had allowed the stock to emerge from a difficult quarter.
The Price Falls Below the MA50 and Approaches Resistance at €32.40
The decline brings the price below the MA50, at €32.31, a gap of 2.07%, while the MA200 at €33.68 remains 6.06% above. The stock, however, remains above the MA20 at €31.27, which serves as the first support level. The previous day, the price was hitting resistance around €32.40, a level identified by technical indicators.
The RSI at 60.9 remains in neutral territory, without overbought signals despite the rebound of recent weeks. Support at €30.42 is the next technical level to watch.
