Viridien Initiates OBN Seismic Campaign Covering 645 km² in the North Sea
Viridien announced on Monday the commencement of a multi-client seismic survey using OBN (ocean bottom node) technology across 645 km² in the Frigg area of the North Sea. The processed data will be available in the third quarter of 2027.
The survey spans the Frigg area, which stretches between the British and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea. Viridien will employ its proprietary OBN processing and imaging technologies, including Time-Lag Full-Waveform Inversion, to analyze the complex geology and reservoirs of the region.
