Vusion Shares Tumble Nearly 8%, Bottom of the SBF 120
The Nanterre-based specialist in connected electronic labels sharply drops mid-session, going against a stagnant Parisian market. The stock erases its recent rebound as the company announced this morning an acceleration in its deployment at Decathlon.
A Fall That Brings the Stock Back to Its Summer Lows and Breaks the Support at €117.40
Vusion shares lose 7.96% to €121.40, at the bottom of the SBF 120, while the broader index slightly gains 0.09%. The decline is notable as the stock erases its monthly gains: the thirty-day performance drops to -8.31%, and the decline reaches 12.16% over a week. This movement goes against today's operational news, with the company announcing this morning that Decathlon has crossed the threshold of 700 stores equipped in 54 countries in the second quarter.
From a chart perspective, the stock falls below its MM20 (€134.29) and MM50 (€128.53), with respective gaps of -9.60% and -5.55%, while the MM200 remains far away at €169.32, placing the course 28.30% below this MM200. The support threshold at €117.40, already broken at the end of June before a rebound, becomes the watched lower bound again: the price is now only about 3% above it. The RSI at 37 reflects the harshness of the session without yet tipping into oversold territory.
Short Positions Have Receded Over the Past Month But Remain High on the Stock
According to collected statements, seven funds accumulate 4.81% of the capital sold short on the stock, a level that remains significant even though it has decreased by 1.25 points over thirty days (from 6.06% a month ago). In other words, some shorts have already been covered during the June-July rebound, but the bearish pressure remains structurally one of the markers of the stock. Without overinterpreting the figure, this level indicates that several institutional investors maintain an unfavorable stance, which can amplify movements in both directions depending on catalysts.
In the medium term, the stock remains weighed down by a 52.39% decline over a year, despite a still slightly positive three-month performance (+3.41%). The next technical threshold to watch remains the support at €117.40, whose holding will condition the interpretation of the decline in the coming sessions.
