Worldline share: one of the best sessions on the SBF 120, the stock rises 2%
The European payments specialist is recovering during the session, in a Parisian market barely oriented upwards. The movement extends a rebound initiated last week, following a correction that left the stock well below its moving averages.
A rebound that only fills an infinitesimal part of the monthly decline
The stock gains 2.03% to €10.94, which places Worldline among the strongest gains on the SBF 120, while the index rises 0.11%. Over a week, the security recovers nearly 5%, but it still loses 18.56% over a month: today's gain barely mitigates this decline. The price remains 5.2% below the 20-day MA (€11.54) and 13% below the 200-day MA (€12.58), while the RSI at 36 reflects a security still weak after several weeks of decline.
The support level at €10.21 is less than 7% below the current price. The stock had fallen to its lowest level in a year in early October, before rebounding over recent days.
Short selling positions in decline and a semester marked by debt reduction
Net short positions declared by three funds reach 2.56% of capital, compared to 3.27% 30 days ago, a decline of 0.71 points. This easing, of moderate magnitude, aligns with the recent rebound without being demonstrated as its cause. The stock is valued at approximately 3.5 times the expected earnings for the current fiscal year, according to the consensus of surveyed analysts.
During the publication of H1 2026 (July 30, 2026), the group reported a debt cut in half and annual growth revised downwards. The next reference point is the support level at €10.21, which the price has not retested since its rebound.
