Ageas Anticipates a Quorum Failure for its General Meeting on April 22
Ageas SA/NV is organizing an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on April 22, 2026, in Brussels. The insurance group anticipates a risk of not meeting the quorum and has planned a second call for May 20, 2026, in case of insufficient representation.
Details of the Upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting
The Extraordinary General Meeting of Ageas SA/NV shareholders will be held on April 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the group's offices, located at 21 Boulevard Avenue in Brussels. Ageas has indicated that, based on its experience from previous years, this initial meeting is not expected to reach the required quorum, which is set at a representation of at least 50% of the capital.
Procedures in Case of Insufficient Quorum
If the initial meeting does not achieve the quorum, Ageas will issue a second notice on April 18, 2026, for the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, concurrently with the Ordinary General Meeting. Both meetings will then be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Shareholders may submit their questions regarding this meeting to general.meeting@ageas.com.
