On April 16, 2026, Stellantis and Microsoft announced a strategic five-year collaboration to accelerate the digital transformation of the automaker through the co-development of advanced capabilities in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and engineering.

Stellantis is modernizing its infrastructure through Microsoft Azure, targeting a 60% reduction in data center footprint by 2029. This transformation is part of a strategy to enhance the reliability and scalability of digital and connected services, as well as to strengthen operational resilience across global manufacturing and logistics chains.
Enterprise-Scale AI Tools Deployment
As part of the collaboration, Stellantis is deploying enterprise-grade AI tools globally. All employees have access to Copilot Chat, while an initial deployment of 20,000 Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses supports selected roles. A dedicated training program at Stellantis assists teams in effectively applying these AI capabilities.
