2025 Outlook and Strategic Developments

Positive discussions are ongoing regarding the A400M program, including an agreement with OCCAR to advance seven deliveries to France and Spain. Additionally, Airbus, Leonardo, and Thales have signed a memorandum of understanding to merge their space activities, potentially leading to the creation of a new European enterprise by 2027.
Operational Environment and Order Book
According to Airbus's press release, the financial results for the first nine months reflect a complex and dynamic operational environment, exacerbated by current trade tariffs. Airbus's order book includes 8,665 commercial aircraft as of the end of September 2025. The company anticipates that its A320 Family program will reach a production rate of 75 aircraft per month by 2027. Airbus is also continuing to expand its capacity to support this ramp-up, while making adjustments to the A220 and A330 to align production with current demand.
