Amundi has unveiled its strategic plan for 2025-2028, aiming to strengthen its position as a European leader in asset management, with a focus on growth, diversification, and technological innovation.
According to the press release, Amundi aims for earnings per share to exceed 7 euros by 2028, with an operating ratio below 56%. The company also plans an attractive return for shareholders with a payout ratio of at least 65%. A share buyback program is scheduled to return excess capital in 2026.

Amundi's 'Invest for the Future' plan focuses on six priorities: client diversification, geographic expansion, innovation in investment solutions, development of Amundi Technology, optimization of the operational model, and investments to create value. Among the quantified targets, Amundi aims for more than 300 billion euros in net inflows by 2028, particularly through retirement and digital segments.
Expansion and Strategic Partnerships
Amundi intends to increase its presence in Asia and Northern Europe, while seizing opportunities in high-potential regions such as the Middle East and Latin America. The company relies on enhanced synergy with Crédit Agricole and on strategic partnerships to fuel its growth. Concurrently, Amundi will invest in organic growth initiatives and explore external growth opportunities evaluated with a return on investment of at least 10% within three years.
