ArcelorMittal has canceled 77.8 million treasury shares, according to a company statement.
Cancellation of Treasury Shares
ArcelorMittal has announced the cancellation of 77,809,772 treasury shares. With this reduction, the total number of shares in circulation for the company now stands at 775 million, down from 852,809,772 previously. However, the company still holds approximately 14.4 million treasury shares to meet its commitments under its long-term incentive plan.
Compliance with Luxembourg Law
In accordance with Article 14 of Luxembourg law and the grand-ducal regulation of January 11, 2008, concerning transparency requirements for securities issuers, ArcelorMittal discloses that the total number of voting rights and capital of the company is available on the OAM electronic database of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and on the company's website.
