Bouygues Telecom Launches Bbox 5G WiFi 7 with Repeater and TV Stick
On January 20, 2026, Bouygues Telecom announced the launch of the Bbox 5G WiFi 7, a 5G box certified with WiFi 7 that includes a WiFi 7 repeater and a Google TV compatible TV stick. The operator also unveiled the Extra Bbox, a 5G backup solution available to all customers.
The Bbox 5G WiFi 7 provides theoretical speeds of up to 1.1 Gbps for downloads and 175 Mbps for uploads, utilizing 5G on the 3.5 GHz band. The device includes a WiFi 7 repeater and a TV stick compatible with 4K, HDR10, and Dolby Atmos, allowing access to over 180 channels through the pre-installed b.tv app.
