CAC 40 Dips by 1.05% to 7897 Points: 29 Stocks in the Red at Session Start

TotalEnergies leads the gains with an increase of 2.09% to 79.18 euros. Stellantis follows with an advance of 1.77% to 6.44 euros. Danone progresses by 0.84% to 69.64 euros, while Engie gains 0.67% to 28.59 euros. Euronext rounds out this limited group with a rise of 0.64% to 141.30 euros.
STMicroelectronics falls by 3.79% to 28.80 euros, recording the sharpest decline of the session. ArcelorMittal drops by 3.75% to 44.91 euros, followed by Schneider Electric which loses 3.54% to 231.45 euros. Société Générale gives up 3.31% to 63.78 euros and Legrand concedes 2.93% to 134.30 euros.
The spread of stock movements reveals a marked imbalance with 29 declines against 11 rises and no stable values. Trading volumes are at a low level. The VIX stands at 25.25 points. Major European indices also show declines: the DAX loses 0.10%, the FTSE 100 falls by 0.34%, while the Nikkei 225 closed down by 1.04%.
