Crédit Agricole Assurances Reports Record Revenue of 52.4 Billion Euros in 2025

The insurance subsidiary of Crédit Agricole S.A. also recorded a record net inflow of 15.9 billion euros.
Historic Revenue Growth in 2025
In 2025, Crédit Agricole Assurances achieved a revenue of 52.4 billion euros, the highest in its history, marking a 20.1% increase compared to the end of December 2024. This performance reflects a dynamic growth both in France and internationally. In France, the revenue reached 44.7 billion euros, up by 22.1%, while internationally it amounted to 7.7 billion euros, growing by 9.6%. Across all three business lines, activity was particularly strong. In savings and retirement, the revenue was 39.7 billion euros, up by 23.5%, benefiting from a favorable savings environment and the acquisition of a significant collective retirement contract in the last quarter. Gross inflows in euro funds reached 26.0 billion euros, up by 25.1%, while inflows in unit-linked products amounted to 13.8 billion euros, growing by 20.9%. Net inflows in savings retirement set a record at 15.9 billion euros, with 7.9 billion in euro funds and 8.0 billion in unit-linked products. Life insurance reserves increased to 373.0 billion euros at the end of December 2025, up by 7.4%, consisting of 256.9 billion in euro funds and 116.1 billion in unit-linked products. In property and casualty, the revenue reached 6.9 billion euros, up by 12.0%, including the first consolidation of Abanca Seguros Generales in the third quarter and PiùVera Assicurazioni in the fourth quarter. At constant scope, this increase would be 8.4%. The property and casualty portfolio amounted to 17.9 million contracts, growing by 7.3%.
Net Income of the Group
The net income attributable to the group of Crédit Agricole Assurances was 2,030 million euros, up by 3.6% year-on-year. Excluding the exceptional contribution on the profits of large corporations, it grew by 7.8%, reflecting the revenue evolution across all business lines. The margin on contractual services reached 27.5 billion euros at the end of December 2025, up by 9.1%, incorporating a contribution from new business of 2.6 billion euros. The combined ratio for property and casualty in France increased by 0.2 points to 94.6%, while the ratio of updated claims for all exercises net of reinsurance stood at 69.4%, improving by 0.7 points. In personal protection, the revenue was 5.8 billion euros, up by 8.6%, including the first consolidations of Spanish and Italian subsidiaries. At constant scope, the growth reached 4.0%. Group insurance notably recorded a growth of 23.4%, with the contract with the Electrical and Gas Industries coming into effect on July 1. In health, the revenue grew by 21.2%, with the number of beneficiaries exceeding 2.5 million. At the end of December 2025, the Solvency II prudential ratio was estimated at around 195%, confirming the group's solidity.

Crédit Agricole Assurances launches its new long-term corporate project titled 'Shaping Tomorrow', which is part of the ACT 2028 strategy of the Crédit Agricole S.A. group. The group commits to accelerating its diversification, strengthening its European footprint, and becoming the reference insurer for all its clients. The ambitions for 2028 include: Life reserves exceeding 400 billion euros, 3 million Health beneficiaries, a Damage contract portfolio exceeding 20 million, international revenue exceeding 9 billion euros, equivalent to an average annual growth rate of 7% between 2024 and 2028, and a Gross Operating Income growing by more than 3% per year on average over this period.
