Strategic Initiatives Announced
This Monday, the group unveiled the creation of the Crédit Agricole Assurances Avenir et Territoires fund, with an initial capacity of 100 million euros. Managed by IDIA Capital Investment and classified as Article 8 under SFDR regulations, this Evergreen fund aims to finance French SMEs and intermediate-sized enterprises in their long-term equity and quasi-equity needs, according to the press release. The initiative relies on the proximity of LCL networks and regional banks to the territories and is based on a strategy of systematic co-investment with regional vehicles. Concurrently, LCL, a subsidiary of the group, launched on January 20 L by LCL Pro, a fully digital banking offer aimed at entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses. According to the press release, account opening is done online in ten minutes and the service is billed at 9 euros per month, or free for LCL individual clients. These two operations strengthen the group's positioning with French businesses, in a context where analysts maintain a positive momentum, including Deutsche Bank which raised its price target to 20 euros on January 21.
