Eutelsat Appoints Sébastien Rouge as Chief Financial Officer
Eutelsat has announced the appointment of Sébastien Rouge as the Chief Financial Officer, effective from February 1, 2026, according to a recent press release.
Extensive Experience in Finance
Sébastien Rouge joins Eutelsat after more than 30 years of experience in finance across various industrial and technological sectors. Prior to joining Eutelsat, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at Imerys, where he contributed to enhancing financial performance and driving the group's digital transformation. His career also includes leadership roles at Soitec, Alstom, and General Electric, including as CEO of the GE-Alstom Nuclear Systems joint venture and as Financial Director of Steam Power Systems at GE Power.
Succession and Transition
Sébastien Rouge succeeds Christophe Caudrelier, who held the position of Chief Financial Officer for three years. Caudrelier will work closely with Rouge to ensure a smooth transition. Under his leadership, the group strengthened its financial foundations during a significant period of transformation, which included a strategic repositioning towards the telecommunications sector and a merger with OneWeb.

Eutelsat stands out as one of the leading global satellite telecommunications operators. Born from the merger with OneWeb in 2023, the group operates 34 geostationary satellites and a low-orbit constellation of over 600 satellites.
