Exail Technologies Secures a 40 Million Euro Order for K-STER Drones
Exail Technologies has announced a contract for several hundred K-STER mine neutralization drones, intended for various navies, valued at approximately 40 million euros. This order represents the second largest ever recorded by the group for this type of equipment.
According to the press release issued on January 5th, Exail Technologies has signed a contract for the supply of several hundred K-STER drones to undisclosed clients for confidentiality reasons. The value of this order amounts to approximately 40 million euros. This is the second largest order of K-STER drones ever recorded by the company, following a 60 million euro order received in 2024. These drones are used in the final phase of mine-clearing missions to neutralize previously identified underwater threats by other drones in the UMIS system. The group notes that these are consumable drones, destroyed during the mine neutralization process, and they represent a part of the recurring revenue generated throughout the operational life of the UMIS systems.
