The player, hailing from Darnetal in Seine-Maritime, won the maximum prize of €500,000 by scratching a Cash ticket recommended by her husband. The couple discovered the prize while scratching the ticket together at home. In the following days, the ticket was carefully moved between a bedroom drawer and an entryway cabinet, with the winners regularly checking its presence before officially claiming the prize with FDJ United. The ticket was purchased from Le Carnot, located at 31 rue Sadi-Carnot in Darnetal. Isabelle Cesari, head of major winner support at FDJ United, handled the prize awarding.
