Heineken Launches HBS India Service Center in Hyderabad
Heineken has inaugurated its business service center (HBS India) in Hyderabad, India. This opening is part of the global transformation program EverGreen 2030 and strengthens the global network of service hubs of the group.
A Fourth Global Business Service Center
The HBS India center complements Heineken's existing network of three other centers located in Poland, Mexico, and Brazil. This establishment in India fills a strategic gap in Asia and enhances the global geographical coverage of the group. According to Harold van den Broek, CFO of Heineken, this opening is a major step in strengthening the foundations of EverGreen 2030. It aims to support more efficient and digitally enabled operating modes, generating productivity gains and greater consistency within the group.
Functions and Growth Objectives
The Hyderabad center will support finance operations, digital and technological services, data, analytics, and business process transformation. Designed according to Heineken's global workplace standards, it reflects the group's commitment to collaboration, culture, innovation, and talent development. Heineken plans an expansion of the HBS network to about 3,000 globalized positions by 2030. Ákos Magyari, Senior Director HBS, emphasizes that Hyderabad offers recognized expertise in digital domains, artificial intelligence, and business services, positioning this center as a key contributor to this planned growth.
