Planisware "Leader" in Gartner's 2026 Magic Quadrant for the 5th consecutive year
Project management software publisher Planisware states that it ranks among the "Leaders" in the 2026 ranking established by research firm Gartner in the Adaptive Project Management and Reporting (APMR) segment.
Fifth consecutive year in the "Leaders" quadrant
In a press release issued on August 6, 2026, Planisware announced that it had been recognized as a "Leader" in the Gartner Magic Quadrant 2026 for Adaptive Project Management and Reporting. The company notes that this is the fifth consecutive year it has achieved this positioning in this ranking.
According to Gartner, cited by Planisware, the Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors based on two criteria: their Ability to Execute and the Completeness of Vision. The report is signed by Peter Clegg, Zainab Ali, Woojin Choi, Jennifer Jackson and Daniel Stang, dated August 4, 2026.
Gartner furthermore indicates that it does not recommend any vendor, product or service appearing in its publications, and specifies that its research reflects the opinions of its research organization and should not be interpreted as statements of fact.
Developments in the Orchestra platform
Planisware links this positioning to its Orchestra platform and the features introduced since 2025. The company notably cites Oscar, its integrated artificial intelligence agent, which provides portfolio analysis, AI-assisted project request handling and dynamic resource management.
Other developments are mentioned: drag-and-drop dashboard creation, extended integration capabilities and startup packages tailored to specific sectors. Sylvain Bianchi, VP Mid-Market, indicates that the platform aims to allow customers to get started quickly and then progressively adopt more advanced features.
Antoine Villata, General Manager of Planisware North America, links this investment in Orchestra to the ambition of modernizing project and portfolio management while preparing for the next stage related to AI-assisted decision making. Planisware states that it has approximately 900 employees spread across 20 offices and serves approximately 650 customers in more than 35 countries.
