Riber Reports 2025 Revenue of €40.3 Million, Meeting Its Targets
The global leader in MBE equipment for the semiconductor industry achieved a revenue of €40.3 million in 2025, in line with its forecasts. This performance is supported by sustained activity in production systems and the gradual ramp-up of ROSIE, its new platform dedicated to silicon photonics.
Annual Financial Performance
RIBER reported an annual revenue of €40.3 million for 2025, aligning with the group's previously announced targets. This result reflects both the sustained activity in production systems and the gradual ramp-up of ROSIE, the new MBE platform dedicated to silicon photonics, which saw its first two units ordered in 2025. This momentum confirms the growing industrial interest in MBE solutions compatible with 300 mm production lines. MBE systems revenue reached €30.9 million, stable compared to 2024, with billing for 12 machines including 9 production systems and the delivery of the first ROSIE platform unit. Revenue from services and accessories was €9.4 million, slightly down due to budget constraints in the United States, but showed a recovery in the second half with an increase of 8.5%.
Order Book and Geographic Contributions
The total order book reached €26.9 million as of December 31, 2025, up 24% despite a particularly strong pace of deliveries at the end of the year. The MBE systems order book stood at €20.3 million, up 22%, covering 6 systems, including 4 production machines and 1 ROSIE platform. This order book does not include the order announced on January 19, 2026, for a production system in Japan, deliverable in 2026. The order book for services and accessories reached €6.6 million, up 31% compared to a favorable base year. Geographically, Europe contributed 45.1% of the annual 2025 revenue compared to 35.7% in 2024, Asia accounted for 39.7% compared to 57.3% in 2024, and North America 15.2% compared to 7.1% in 2024. These shifts indicate an increased diversification of the markets served. Some commercial opportunities, totaling €4 million, were subject to export license denials during the year.
Outlook for 2026
For 2026, RIBER anticipates the production of ROSIE 2, a dual-chamber version, and the provision, as part of the partnership with the Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme, of the first samples of BTO/STO thin layers on silicon wafers to the scientific and industrial community. These steps will mark a key milestone in the group's technological roadmap. With the visibility provided by its order book and subject to obtaining the necessary licenses to realize the identified opportunities in its systems and services activities, RIBER aims to grow its revenue compared to 2025. Complete annual results will be announced on April 8, 2026, before the stock market opens.
