Société Générale appoints Benoît Grisoni to better combine BoursoBank and the SG network
The Chief Executive Officer of BoursoBank takes charge of retail and business customers within the retail banking division in France, while maintaining his current duties. He takes office on October 1, 2026.
Société Générale announced on September 21, 2026 the appointment of Benoit Grisoni to the position of Deputy Director of retail banking activities in France, private banking and insurance, in charge of retail and business customers.
He will report to Lubomira Rochet, Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of these activities and Chief Operating Officer of the group, and will supervise retail and business customers from October 1, 2026.
Benoit Grisoni will continue as Chief Executive Officer of BoursoBank.

According to the bank, this appointment is part of the objective to develop a more integrated vision of the French retail customer market, announced on September 21, 2026 on the occasion of the Capital Markets Day.
The group intends to combine BoursoBank, the SG network and Société Générale Private Banking. Slawomir Krupa, Chief Executive Officer of the group, stated he wanted to "shape the future of all our retail banking activities in France in service of our retail customers" and highlighted "Benoit's contribution at the head of BoursoBank".
Benoit Grisoni spent most of his career at Boursorama, where he began as a customer advisor within Fimatex in 1998. He was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Boursorama in 2016, then Chief Executive Officer in 2017.
