SCOR SE stock at the bottom of the SBF 120, down 3% despite a 30.5% gain over one year
The Paris-based reinsurer falls sharply in a market under heavy downward pressure. It ranks at the bottom of its index, while major European exchanges absorb the correction coming from Wall Street.
A decline that contrasts with the gains of recent weeks
The SCOR SE stock loses 2.92% to €34.56, while the SBF 120 falls 1.64% during the session.
The stock is thus among the largest decliners in the index, in a market weighed down by the previous day's drop on Wall Street, where the Nasdaq shed 5.52% and the S&P 500 4.36%. This decline follows a phase of gains: the stock still shows a 4.66% gain over the week and remains up 30.81% over one year. It sits above its three moving averages, with the MM20 at €33.66 being 2.67% below the price and the MM200 at €31.83 being 8.58% below the price. The session, however, meets resistance at €35.60, the price level of the previous day's close.

Jefferies raised its price target on Thursday from €36 to €37, while maintaining its Hold rating. This target is 7% above the current price. The analysts' opinion has thus improved slightly following the publication, on October 30, of the third-quarter results.
Net income declined by 4.8%, but EPS came in above consensus. At the release of the nine-month 2026 figures, the group reported a solvency ratio of 221% and an annualized return on equity of 18.9%. It considers its P&C combined ratio to be well below its target of 87%.
« SCOR a enregistré une performance solide dans ses trois lignes de métier au cours de ce trimestre. En P&C, les revenus progressent et la rentabilité reste élevée, avec un ratio combiné bien inférieur à l'objectif de 87 % malgré un trimestre actif sur les catastrophes naturelles. » ; « Fort d'un ratio de solvabilité à 221 %, SCOR aborde la dernière étape de Forward 2026 avec un bilan renforcé »
