A decline that keeps AXA above its three moving averages
AXA shares fall 2.14% to €44.73, while the CAC 40 drops 1.61% intraday.
The decline brings the stock back below the €45.71 resistance, its level from the previous day. It nevertheless remains well above its 20-day moving average (MM20) at €42.93 (a gap of 4.19%), its 50-day moving average (MM50) at €43.18 and its 200-day moving average (MM200) at €41.78.
The stock is still up 4.68% over one week and 6.12% over one month, so this session only interrupts a recent rise. Meanwhile, the CAC 40 is trading in a context of strong risk aversion: the Nasdaq fell 5.52% on Thursday and the VIX rose to 26.62.
