-17% and all-time low: Valbiotis share pays the price for abandoning its objectives
The stock of the La Rochelle-based laboratory suffers a heavy trading session following interim results whose publication is accompanied by a renunciation of several commercial ambitions. Two research firms responded immediately by lowering their targets while maintaining their buy ratings.
The company renounces its €3 million revenue target and withdraws its 2027 and 2030 ambitions
The stock fell 16.82% to €0.55, after touching €0.4860 during the session, a new all-time low that erases the previous record of €0.5261 from November 14, 2025. The decline is part of an already established trend: -30.51% over three months, and a price 38.31% below the 200-day moving average. Valbiotis published on Monday, October 12 interim accounts which show a net loss reduced to €3.4 million and cash reserves of €11.7 million following the June capital increase.
Commercial momentum continued in the third quarter "at a pace however below the Company's expectations". The group consequently renounces its ambition of €3 million in revenue for fiscal year 2026, a level that corresponded to the analyst consensus noted on October 6, and withdraws its targets for 2027 and 2030.
TP Icap Midcap and Portzamparc lower their target price by €0.50 each
The analyst consensus was revised the same day. TP Icap Midcap lowered its target from €1.80 to €1.30, and Portzamparc from €1.90 to €1.40. Both firms maintain a buy rating. Even after these reductions, their targets remain well above the current share price, with the gap amounting to more than 1.2 times the current level of the stock.
