Acheter-Louer.fr invests $250,000 in Lucid Computing, an AI specialist
In a press release published on November 4, 2026, the group presented the first concrete outcome of its technology diversification strategy. Financed from equity, the transaction led it to update its cash runway, which remains contingent on the drawdown of a bond financing.
28,550 preferred shares in a raise of approximately $13M
Through SOL Treasury Corp, a wholly-owned subsidiary that also holds its Solana crypto-asset acquisitions, Acheter-Louer.fr subscribed for 28,550 newly issued Series Seed preferred shares of Lucid Computing. The price is $8.756298 per share, or $249,992.31 in total.
This subscription is part of a fundraising round of approximately $13 million. It represents 0.24% of Lucid Computing's share capital on a fully diluted basis, if the round is completed in full.
The shares acquired notably benefit from a liquidation preference and a right to convert into common shares. According to the group, these rights constitute neither a guarantee of repayment of the invested capital nor a guarantee of return.
Incorporated in the State of Delaware in December 2024, Lucid Computing develops technology that verifies where artificial intelligence workloads are executed and whether a deployed model matches the one previously evaluated. The company, which has about 15 employees, states that it has secured its first commercial contracts.
Among its investors are Juniper Ventures, Lionheart Ventures, SAIF and Halcyon Futures. The funds raised are primarily intended to finance engineering and product development, existing client projects, business development and working capital requirements.
Cash runway secured until end of October 2027, subject to conditions
Following this disbursement, the group considers that it has the resources necessary until the end of October 2027, subject to the drawdown of the remaining tranches of the bond financing put in place with Digital Ventures I in January 2026. Without this drawdown, its cash runway would be limited to six months.
It specifies that this investment in an unlisted company carries a risk of total or partial loss of capital and a potentially long liquidity horizon. Laurent Campagnolo, Chairman of the Management Board, stated his intention to “selectively identify promising technologies, with a long-term perspective and careful risk management”.
Acheter-Louer.fr intends to continue exploring opportunities in digital solutions, data, artificial intelligence, automation and Web3, through equity stakes or external growth. On October 6, 2026, the group had also indicated that it was considering the disposal of its historical businesses.
These potential transactions remain subject to its own financial capacity and to the prior arrangement of the necessary external financing, none being committed to date.
