After a quarter down 16.5%, Aperam share rebounds 2.5% during trading
The stainless steel producer recovers mid-session in a well-oriented French market. This rebound comes after a prolonged decline and a cautious status update on the end of the year.
A rebound of 2.29% that only partially offsets the monthly decline
The Aperam share gains 2.29% to €39.38, while the SBF 120 advances 0.62%. The stock is among the strongest gainers in the index, but this movement only partially mitigates a 12.37% decline over one month, to which is added a 16.53% fall over three months. The price remains below its 20-day moving average (€42.68, gap of 7.73%) as well as its 50-day moving average (€44.98, gap of 12.45%), and the RSI at 31 signals a configuration close to oversold conditions following this slide. The support level at €37.34 is located approximately 5% below the current price.

The group published on October 6 a status update on its market trends, in which it confirms expected lower EBITDA in the third quarter, with an energy bill estimated at approximately €20 million per quarter. When publishing the first half of 2026 results on July 30, the company had already indicated that adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter would be lower than that of the second quarter, due to seasonality. Brent is trading at $106.43 per barrel (+0.70% on the session), in a context of rising energy costs for the steel sector. Beyond this rebound, it is the €37.34 zone that remains the technical level to watch.
