Afyren and Terrial Renew Fertilizer Contract Worth Several Tens of Million Euros
The Clermont-based greentech company AFYREN and Terrial, a subsidiary of the Avril group, have signed a new multi-year fertilizer supply contract with a total value of several tens of millions of euros.
This renewal reflects a relationship established between the two companies since 2021.
A Long-Term Contract for NEOXY Potassium Fertilizer
AFYREN and Terrial announced on September 29, 2026 the renewal of their partnership through the signing of a new long-term multi-year contract.
AFYREN produces on French territory a potassium-rich fertilizer, processed and used by Terrial for the formulation of fertilizers marketed under the FORTI K+ brand. This product meets the needs of crops in vegetable farming, viticulture, arboriculture and field crops.
The contract covers a significant share of the fertilizer volumes produced by the AFYREN NEOXY plant, based in the Grand Est region, with Terrial holding exclusive marketing rights on French territory.

The contract has a total value of several tens of millions of euros.
According to both companies, at full capacity, it could cover nearly a quarter of French needs for potassium sulfate in agriculture.
Terrial represents nearly 800,000 tonnes and 55 million euros in revenue, according to the information disclosed.
A Committed Relationship Since 2021
AFYREN has been associated with Terrial since 2021. AFYREN fertilizer, marketed in Terrial's product range, has benefited from developments aimed at adapting it to market needs, with a compaction format suited to different spreading systems.
Nicolas Sordet, Chief Executive Officer of AFYREN, stated that the valorization of this fertilizer is part of the company's circular model. Ollivier Péan, Chief Executive Officer of Terrial, mentioned the strengthening of the capacity to offer fertilizing solutions available throughout France.
