AMG Critical Materials aims for secondary listing in Frankfurt in 2026
The critical materials producer listed in Amsterdam since 2007 has announced its intention to seek admission of its shares to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, without issuing new securities. This initiative is part of its industrial presence in Germany. Euronext Amsterdam would remain the group's primary listing.
A dual listing to broaden the investor base
AMG Critical Materials N.V. announced on August 24, 2026 its plan to seek admission of its shares to listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. According to the press release, this listing is expected to become effective during 2026. With this second listing in Germany, the company indicates it aims to access a broader investor base and create additional liquidity in its shares. "With this secondary listing, we will significantly broaden AMG's investor base in Europe and strengthen the liquidity and visibility of our shares," said Heinz Schimmelbusch, Chairman of the Board of Management and Chief Executive Officer.
An industrial presence in Germany highlighted
The executive linked this decision to the group's historical presence in Germany, a country that hosts nine of its production sites as well as several of its activity and technology centers. He cited the titanium alloys activity in Nuremberg, vacuum furnace technologies in Hanau, the lithium research laboratory in Hoechst, the battery-grade lithium hydroxide plant in Bitterfeld, as well as the AURA catalyst recycling activity in Saxony-Anhalt. AMG specified that it does not plan to issue or offer new shares as part of this secondary listing in Frankfurt. The listing will complement the primary listing on Euronext Amsterdam, which will remain the group's reference venue. As part of this operation, AMG will make available an information document under Article 1(5)(ba) of Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 (Prospectus Regulation).
