Aperam: Stock Erases 22.5% in One Month, Far from Its Four-Year Peak
The stainless steel producer is declining further during the session and is joining the bottom of the SBF 120, in a European market oriented downward. The session extends a slide that began several weeks ago, which the broader index fails to explain.
A Decline of 15.5% in One Week That Leaves the Stock Far from Its Moving Averages
The stock falls 3.48% to €37.20 at midday, placing it among the strongest declines in the SBF 120, an index that is down 0.81% at the same time. The drop reaches 15.53% over the week and 22.69% over one month, so that the price is now below the 20-day MA (gap of 15.59%) and below the 200-day MA (gap of 13.43%). The RSI at 25 reflects the extent of this selling decline. The Luxembourg-based group thus loses a large part of the gains made in spring, when the stock had reached a four-year high.

On October 6, the company warned that its third quarter EBITDA would be lower than that of the second quarter, with an energy cost of approximately €20 million per quarter. It also describes unchanged European demand at a low level, without improvement in order books. When publishing the H1 2026 results on July 30, management had already adopted a cautious tone on this quarter. The next benchmark is the support at €38.54, now fallen back below.
