Artprice by Artmarket and La Demeure du Chaos are partnering with the 18th Contemporary Art Biennial of Lyon, which opens to the public on September 19, 2026 and closes on December 13, 2026.
A journey spanning 11 venues in Lyon and its metropolitan area
The 18th Contemporary Art Biennial of Lyon, titled "Moving from one dream to another," unfolds across 11 venues in Lyon and its metropolitan area, bringing together 120 artists and nearly 400 works. It is curated by Catherine Nichols and under the artistic direction of Isabelle Bertolotti.
The main venue, Les Grandes Locos, hosts a large portion of the exhibition. The journey continues in ten other locations, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lyon, the Fine Arts Museum of Lyon and the Museum of Textiles, which reopens on the occasion of the Biennial, as well as the LPA Saint-Antoine park.

The Biennial Pass provides access to all 11 venues, for one visit per venue, until December 13, 2026. It is offered at prices ranging from €18 to €25.
The Biennial is free for children under 15, students in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and art students, and offers a reduced rate for those under 26. Guided tours are offered in addition to the Pass (+ €3), as well as an audio guide in the three main venues (+ €3). The event welcomes visitors from age 3 onwards and offers new facilities, including labels in Easy to Read and Understand (FALC) format.
