Atos Group shares fall 2.5%, among the steepest declines in the SBF 120
The IT services and cybersecurity group loses ground in early afternoon trading, while the Paris market remains virtually stable.
A marked pullback despite a monthly rebound of more than 17%
The share price of Atos Group falls 2.34% to €25.90, near the bottom of the SBF 120, while the index declines 0.1%. This drop partly erases a more favorable recent trend: the stock still shows a 17.5% gain over one month and 3% over the week, following the publication of a reassuring third quarter on October 21.
Over one year, however, the loss still reaches 48.95%. The stock remains above its 20-day moving average at €23.92 (a gap of 8.28%) but below its 200-day moving average at €34.16, or 24.18% under this long-term average.
The RSI at 55 signals neither overbought nor oversold conditions, and resistance at €27.78 remains out of reach for now.
Five funds hold a combined 4.38% of the capital sold short
On the positioning side, the disclosures reviewed show a combined net short position of 4.38% of the capital, spread across five funds, compared with 3.51% thirty days earlier. This increase of 0.87 points indicates that institutional investors are betting on a further decline or hedging an exposure, although this level alone is not enough to describe overall sentiment on the stock.
On the business side, on November 3, Atos presented, through Eviden, its SMX speed sensor for naval drones, which extends the group's positioning in defense markets following the launch of Astra-Las at the end of October. The group also confirmed its 2026 targets in its publication of October 21, 2026.
