Banqup relies on Jefacture.com for its deployment in France
The Belgian fintech group provided an update on its deployment in France, on the occasion of the 81st Congress of the Expert-Accountant Media Association (ECMA).
It highlights its expansion strategy based on distribution partners rather than a direct sales force.
A partnership with the ECMA's jefacture.com platform
Banqup states it is acting as the central technology provider for jefacture.com, the approved platform created by ECMA, the digital branch established by the National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants (CNOEC).
The company explains that it chose to integrate its platform within the accounting ecosystem through the ECMA distribution channel, rather than building direct sales networks.
According to the group, this channel currently represents nearly 175,000 registered and active professional clients on the platform, as well as approximately 4,900 accounting firms directing their clients to jefacture.com.

The group describes this partner-driven commercialization model as the main scheme it is replicating on other European growth markets facing mandatory transitions to electronic invoicing.
Banqup adds that the already integrated network represents an opportunity for additional sales of other products, such as the payment module.
Chief Executive Officer Koen De Brabander recalled having long presented the French market as a growth driver, indicating that regulatory postponements had shifted the initial timeline and that jefacture.com now functions as a driver of automated financial flows in France.
