STIF shares rebound after a first contract with SpaceX, but lose 62.5% over three months

A rebound that stretches out after the first contract with SpaceX

The stock gains 4.09% to €19.59 at midday, after jumping 18% on Tuesday following the signing of a first contract with SpaceX, worth approximately €1 million, for its Vigiflap check valves.

Announced on the evening of November 2, this agreement adds a client from the space sector to the portfolio of the manufacturer of explosion protection components.

The move extends a recovery of nearly 13% over the week, but it comes after a 62.61% drop over three months, triggered by Tesla's decision to exclude the group's products from its new energy storage model, the Megapack 3.

During the H1 2026 results, published on October 1, the company had also warned of a slowdown in deliveries to Tesla starting at the end of the second half.

The stock moves back above its 20-day moving average but remains far from its long-term averages

In terms of moving averages, the price is above its 20-day MA at €16.36 (a gap of +19.74%), confirming the recovery underway since the October lows, when the stock had fallen below €14.50 with an RSI at 13.

The 50-day MA at €31.99 remains, however, 38.76% above the price, and the 200-day MA at €48.64 is much higher still, a sign of the extent of the decline accumulated since summer.

The session is taking place in a Parisian market trending upward, with the CAC 40 gaining 0.55% at midday.

The group, headquartered in Saint-Georges-sur-Loire, manufactures bucket elevators, belts and dust explosion protection systems for battery energy storage. Its support at €13.92 remains the nearest level in case of a relapse.
