In its accounts published this morning, Vivoryon reports a net loss of €4.8M over nine months, compared with €7.6M a year earlier, thanks to lower expenses. Cash, meanwhile, fell to €1.7M as of September 30, versus €5.6M at the end of 2025.
According to the group, its resources cover its needs until the second half of December 2026, and it states that its ability to continue operating depends on obtaining additional financing.
The company is negotiating a partnership or financing for varoglutamstat and is exploring other options, including a sale of the company or of its assets. The launch of the Phase 2b study in diabetic nephropathy remains contingent on this financing.
