Bilendi Integrates "Ask BARI", a Conversational AI, into Its Discuss Platform
In a press release issued on October 5, 2026 after the close of trading, Bilendi presented a new version of Bilendi Discuss, its qualitative research platform powered by artificial intelligence. The update covers two areas: data interrogation by research managers and participant engagement in surveys.
Interrogating Study Data in Natural Language
Bilendi Discuss collects text, voice, video and images across channels such as WhatsApp, Messenger and the web. At the heart of the platform is BARI, the AI developed internally by the group, which re-engages participants in real-time, detects emerging themes and synthesizes contributions.
The central feature of this version, called "Ask BARI", integrates a conversational and agentic AI directly into the tool. According to the group, it enables teams to interrogate complex qualitative studies in plain language and obtain structured answers within seconds, based exclusively on project data.
Research managers can thus interrogate community exchanges, field progress or emerging themes without reviewing hundreds of verbatim responses or building filters. For multi-country studies, the tool identifies cultural nuances from the outset of fieldwork and suggests unexplored angles or complementary questions.
Five Moderator Profiles and New Channels for Participants
The group also deployed three features intended for participants, on the principle that higher engagement produces richer data. BARI now offers five AI moderator profiles, in order to adapt the communication style to the audience targeted by the study.
These are complemented by a redesigned web portal modeled on social networks and an individual conversational channel fully accessible from a browser. Inspired by exchanges with large language models, the latter allows responses by text, voice or video.
"In line with our 2026-2030 strategic plan, this evolution is a new key milestone in transforming our group into a global insights platform natively built on AI", declared Marc Bidou, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Bilendi. The group, listed on Euronext Growth Paris, claims over 600 employees, 22 offices, more than 2,700 clients and more than 4 million verified panelists.
