Bio-UV Group Supplies UV Disinfection System to REUT by Vinci Project
Bio-UV Group, a European specialist in water treatment through UV and other technologies, has announced its contribution to the REUT by VINCI project, an initiative led by Sogea Environnement (a subsidiary of VINCI Construction). The company has provided an integrated UV disinfection system within a mobile water treatment unit.
A UV System to Treat Non-Conventional Waters
Bio-UV Group has supplied a UV disinfection system designed to be integrated into a mobile water treatment unit developed by Sogea Environnement. This autonomous container enables the treatment of wastewater, rainwater, or industrial water so that it can be reused directly on construction sites, reducing the reliance on potable water. UV disinfection plays a crucial role at the heart of this system. This technology eliminates pathogenic microorganisms without the addition of chemicals, while preserving the properties of the treated water with a flow rate of 15 m³/h.
A Successful Initial Experiment on the A62
The REUT by VINCI system has already been successfully tested during a highway renovation project on the A62. Further experiments are expected in the coming months.
