BPOST shares fall to €0.92, a record low after its target was cut
The Belgian logistics group faces a sharp sell-off after a second downward revision of its annual target. The stock breaks its previous floor and trades at a level never reached before, as major global markets retreat.
A new record low at €0.92 after the cut to the EBIT target
BPOST shares lost 20.45% to €0.92 during the session and had touched €0.92 earlier, a record low that falls below the €1.05 low of October 29. The stock has dropped 13.56% over one week and nearly 40% over three months.
The group has revised its adjusted 2026 EBIT target for the second time, now between €95 million and €105 million, compared with about €140 million previously and an initial range of €165 million to €195 million.
The group explains this decline by weaker-than-expected demand: in the third quarter, adjusted EBIT moved from -€3.0 million to -€21.2 million. The Belgian postal business lost €19.8 million and Landmark Global lost €7.4 million, while Paxon improved its result by €8.6 million, which did not offset these declines.
In the group's communication, the risks cited include slower-than-expected parcel growth and a €3 tax on Asian volumes.
