Coty Reorganizes Its Leadership: Departures and Merger of Prestige Activities
Coty has announced a restructuring of its organization to strengthen its Coty.Curated strategy. These changes bring business decision-making closer to the core and speed up processes, with a redeployment of responsibilities at the executive and operational levels.
Markus Strobel Enhances His Role in Prestige Operations
Markus Strobel, Chairman of the Board and interim CEO, is taking direct control of the commercial operations of the Prestige division. Regional managers will now report directly to him. This restructuring brings leadership closer to the markets, speeds up decision-making, and sharpens accountability in terms of sales and market share. Concurrently, Coty is integrating Prestige research and development as well as sustainability into a single streamlined function, under the interim direction of Graeme Carter, director of the supply chain. This merger unites innovation, sustainability, and supply chain to streamline the development and delivery of core activities.
Three Departures and One Arrival in Leadership
Caroline Andreotti, Commercial Director of the Prestige division, will leave Coty at the end of September after three years in this role and nearly two decades with the company. Dr. Shimei Fan, Director of Science and Sustainability, will depart at the end of August. She has led the research and development organization and driven Coty's sustainability agenda, including several improvements in ESG assessments and the approval by the SBTi of science-based carbon reduction targets. Priya Srinivasan, Director of Human Resources and Purpose, will retire in August for personal reasons. Séverine Charbon will replace her starting September 1 as Director of Human Resources and Purpose. She brings over 25 years of international experience in talent strategy and organizational transformation, most recently from the position of International Talent Director at Publicis Groupe.
