CVC DIF and Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG) announced on September 17, 2026, that they had signed an agreement to acquire BauWatch, presented as Europe's leading player in technology-based remote video surveillance solutions. The transaction involves taking over the company from Haniel, a German family-owned company specializing in equity stakes. Under the terms of the agreement, Haniel will retain a minority stake of 10% in BauWatch's capital. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
