DBV Technologies shares rebound 2.5% on earnings day
The Châtillon biotech recovers mid-morning in an almost stable SBF 120. This movement occurs on the day of its third-quarter results publication, following a lengthy series of declines.
A rebound that narrows the gap with the MA20 after a week of recovery
The DBV Technologies share price rises 2.49% to €1.90, placing it among the strongest gainers in the SBF 120, while the index declines 0.03%. It shows +10.8% over seven days, but remains -22.3% over three months. This recovery places it above its MA20 (€1.74, spread of +8.97%), while the MA50 (€2.05) remains 7.51% above the price and the MA200 (€2.95) considerably higher.
The RSI at 53 is neutral: it signals neither oversold nor overbought conditions. The share had lost ground in early October, following its FDA filing for its peanut allergy patch, without this milestone reversing the downward trend.
Third-quarter results expected today, short positions decline by 1.54 points
The calendar shows third-quarter results on October 28, the same day as this session. When publishing first-half 2026 results (July 16), the company indicated financing assured through third-quarter 2027 and submission of its FDA filing expected for third-quarter 2026.
On the selling side, four funds hold a net short position totaling 2.89% of capital according to disclosed declarations, compared to 4.43% thirty days ago. This level remains significant, but selling pressure has substantially declined in one month, which coincides with the recovery observed over the week.
Today's publication will reveal whether the rebound establishes itself beyond the support level at €1.57 and the resistance at €2.22.
