Edenred shares fall 2% and lose nearly 16% over three months, below their averages
The employee benefits and dedicated payments specialist is declining during the session, in a Paris market clearly trending lower after the Wall Street correction. The stock extends a downward phase that began several weeks ago, following a successful bond issue at the end of October.
A decline that is deepening below its short-term moving averages
Edenred shares lose 2.07% to €24.65, while the CAC 40 is down 1.63%. They stand 6.73% below their MM20 and 10.79% below their MM50, while the €23.92 support, already tested intraday on Wednesday, is now only about 3% away from the price.
The stock has fallen 9.54% over one month and nearly 16% over three months, a decline that began after the third-quarter revenue published on October 21. The RSI at 37 reflects this selling pressure without reaching oversold territory. Only the MM200, at €23.39, remains below the price, with a gap of 5.39%.
Italy and Brazil weigh on the historical business, Mobility grows
In the third quarter, the group's operating revenue remained stable at €667 million as reported, but fell 1.2% on a like-for-like basis.
New regulations governing meal vouchers in Italy and Brazil explain this decline, while Mobility grew 10.7%. On October 21, the group confirmed its 2026 EBITDA target, set at €1,240 million.
Among the risks cited in this publication is the conflict in the Middle East, which is weighing on activity in the United Arab Emirates.
Financially, Edenred raised €800 million through a two-tranche bond issue announced on October 28, bringing the average maturity of its bond debt to 4.4 years. The group also repurchased €550 million of shares under its ongoing program.
