Eurazeo Launches the Photo Prize, an Annual €20,000 Grant for Photographers
Private asset manager Eurazeo announced on Tuesday the launch of the Eurazeo Photo Prize, an annual grant of 20,000 euros aimed at supporting professional photographers in the completion of long-term projects. This initiative follows the Eurazeo Photo Award, created in 2010 and highlighted by the 2025 edition won by Aglaé Bory.
A Call for Projects Open Until September 2026
The Eurazeo Photo Prize takes the form of a call for projects addressed to professional photographers of all nationalities, residing in France or abroad. Applications are open from June 2 to September 13, 2026. The program will support one winner each year by providing artistic and strategic support, as well as networking opportunities with galleries, festivals, media, and other image professionals.
Deepening a Philanthropic Commitment to Photography
Eurazeo states that its relationship with photography dates back over twenty years, formalized in 2010 with the creation of the Eurazeo Photo Award. From 2010 to 2025, an artist was selected each year by a jury of professionals for a series responding to a defined theme. With the 15th edition marking, according to the group, the completion of a cycle, the new Photo Prize grant represents a deepening of the philanthropic approach of the Eurazeo Endowment Fund. William Kadouch-Chassaing, Co-CEO of Eurazeo and jury member, sees it as "a new stage: one of even earlier support for creation, at the moment when projects emerge and take shape." Jean-François Camp, President of the jury, adds that "on the occasion of the bicentenary of the creation of photography in 2026, it is more necessary than ever to support artists who, through their images, offer us a space for reflection, distance, and understanding of the world."
