Euronext share price sets historic record and approaches €165
The pan-European stock exchange operator registered a new all-time high on Monday during trading, breaking through the €164.60 threshold for the first time in its history. The share is advancing in a nearly stable Paris market, confirming a bullish momentum that has been underway for several weeks.
An absolute historic high at €164.60 supported by solid underlying momentum
The Euronext share broke its historic record on Monday during trading, touching €164.60 versus a previous all-time high of €164.40. The share is trading at €164.60 mid-session, up 0.86% compared to Friday August 21's closing price (€163.20). This advance is part of a series of regular gains: the share shows nearly 3.6% over seven days and more than 11.5% over the past month.
The overall context remains subdued, with the CAC 40 trading virtually flat during the session, which makes Euronext's outperformance all the more notable. According to available ranking data, the share ranks among the strongest gainers on the CAC 40 at this time. The day's record follows an exceptional quarterly results publication on July 30, 2026, during which the company reported underlying revenue growth of 16.9% and a record adjusted earnings per share of €2.42 in the second quarter, marking its ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth.
A technically tense configuration but consistent with the continuation of the bullish movement
From a moving averages perspective, the situation is unambiguous: the share is trading clearly above its MA20 at €158.42 (a gap of nearly 4%) and its MA50 at €151.31 (a gap exceeding 8%), confirming that medium-term momentum remains solidly bullish. The RSI at 67 is approaching overbought levels without reaching them yet, which signals sustained buying pressure without any configuration break for the moment. The psychological resistance level of €165 constitutes the next prospective reference point above the current price: it is a round level that has never been tested, with no technical reference history.
On the downside, the identified support at €146.90 remains very far from the current price, more than 10% below, which reflects the scale of the recent rally. Analysts' views were strengthened in early August, with Oddo BHF revising its price target upwards following the record results for the second quarter. The €165 level will be the next reference level to monitor in the sessions to come.
