Hoffmann Green Continues Its Collaboration with the World Cement Association
The Vendée-based manufacturer of 0% clinker cement received Philippe Richart, chief executive officer of the World Cement Association, at its industrial site in Bournezeau. The group views this partnership, initiated in September 2023, as part of its international development strategy based on the replication of its industrial model and licensing agreements.
Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies announced on October 12, 2026, the continuation of its collaboration with the World Cement Association (WCA). Founded in 2016, the WCA is an independent international non-profit organization that brings together cement producers and players throughout the sector's value chain.
Its mission is to strengthen cooperation among its members and promote the sharing of industrial and technological practices, particularly in the areas of decarbonization, innovation, and competitiveness.

By remaining a member of this network, Hoffmann Green indicates that it can participate in sector exchanges on decarbonization and present its model to international stakeholders, a model based on the elimination of clinker and on production processes with low energy consumption.
The company links this approach to its international strategy, which aims notably to rely on the replication of its industrial model and on licensing agreements. The group reports contracts signed in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
In France, Hoffmann Green operates two production units in Bournezeau and plans a third plant in the Rhône-Alpes region, with construction scheduled for 2027-2028, in order to increase its total production capacity to approximately 1,000,000 tons per year.
A Phase of Large-Scale Deployment
Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann, co-founders of the company, justified their membership in the WCA by the common objective of decarbonizing the global cement industry, emphasizing the need to enter a phase of large-scale deployment. According to them, exchanges within the association should make it possible to share the group's experience and accelerate the adoption of new solutions in France and internationally.
Philippe Richart, for his part, indicated that the acceleration of the deployment of low-carbon technologies was a priority for the sector. He estimated that Hoffmann Green's industrial model, based on the production of clinker-free cement, could support this transformation on an international scale.
