Hoffmann Green partners with Terrena to decarbonize agricultural construction
Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies is expanding its market reach by targeting agricultural construction, a cement-consuming sector, through an agreement concluded with the Terrena cooperative in western France.
An agreement with an agricultural cooperative group in the Greater West region
On September 14, 2026, Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies announced the signing of a partnership with Terrena, an agricultural cooperative group based in Ancenis (44).
The cooperative brings together 17,000 member farms, 13,000 employees and 118 stores, and operates from agricultural production to the processing and marketing of food products, through brands such as La Nouvelle Agriculture, Père Dodu, Tipiak and Ackerman.
Strongly rooted in the Pays de la Loire and Greater West regions, Terrena is committed to an "Agriculture with Positive Impacts" approach.
Integration of 0% clinker cements in agricultural structures
The partnership focuses on the integration of Hoffmann Green technology and its 0% clinker cements in the construction of foundations and agricultural structures in western France.
This collaboration is intended to enable Terrena to integrate a low-carbon construction solution into its agricultural structures, while helping to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings constructed in its territory.
Diversification beyond historical markets
The signing is part of Hoffmann Green's diversification strategy, which aims to expand the applications of its 0% clinker cements beyond its traditional markets.
According to co-founders Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann, the agricultural building represents a cement-consuming market on which the company intends to deploy its technology. This agreement extends a series of recent initiatives, following a first clinker-free concrete project carried out in the United States in early September 2026 and a partnership concluded in late August 2026 with CSBT Environnement.
