ING announced on September 17, 2026 its intention to redeem $1.5 billion of perpetual Additional Tier 1 Contingent Convertible securities (the "Perpetual Capital Securities"), bearing a coupon of 5.750%, on their call date of November 16, 2026.
The group stated that this operation is in line with its objective to continuously optimize its capital structure. The securities (CUSIP 456837AR4 / ISIN US456837AR44) will be redeemed in full in accordance with their terms, with payment occurring on November 16, 2026.
The redemption price will correspond to the nominal amount of the securities. Accrued and unpaid interest due on the redemption date will be paid to registered holders on November 13, 2026, with The Bank of New York Mellon, London Branch serving as the paying agent.
