Inventiva among the largest declines on the SBF 120: stock falls 4.5%
The Burgundy biotech specializing in fibrotic and metabolic diseases resumes its downward slide at midday, while the Paris index remains virtually stable. The stock ranks among the weakest performers and extends a decline that has lasted several weeks.
A stock below all its moving averages, approaching its support level
The stock loses 4.59% to €2.81, representing a monthly decline of 17.5%, and ranks among the strongest declines on the SBF 120 this Tuesday. It is approaching its support level at €2.77, a level already mentioned during the September 29 session, when the stock fell 25.5% over one month. The price is below its 20-day moving average (gap of 7.73%) as well as its 200-day moving average (gap of 34.15%), confirming a bearish trend established over several months. The RSI at 41 remains in neutral territory: the decline has therefore not yet produced an oversold configuration.
Cash position of €166.1 million as NATiV3 study results approach
Upon publication of first-half 2026 results on July 30, the company had recorded no revenue, compared to €4.5 million a year earlier. Its cash position reached €166.1 million before the NATiV3 Phase 3 results, but the financing horizon remained limited to the end of the second quarter 2027 without additional funding. Among the levers mentioned on that occasion are tranche C of the financing operation (up to €20 million) and the exercise of warrants from tranche 3 (up to €116 million).
Inventiva is listed in Paris and on the Nasdaq in the form of ADSs, at a ratio of one share to one ADS, but Paris remains the dominant venue. The support level at €2.77 is the level the price is preparing to test.
