Inventiva Share: 2% Rise on Support Level, Among SBF 120's Strongest Performers
The Burgundy biotech company specializing in fibrotic and metabolic diseases is recovering at midday, within a Paris index advancing modestly. This recovery comes after several weeks of marked decline, and the share remains far from its medium and long-term benchmarks. The rebound is accompanied by a strengthened financial situation resulting from operations announced in early June.
A Rebound Leaving the Share at a Considerable Distance from Its Moving Averages
The Inventiva share gains 2.06% to €2.72 and ranks among the strongest rises of the SBF 120, which advances 0.21%. This movement only mitigates a decline of 8.73% over the week, while the share has fallen more than 20% over one month. The price remains below its MA20 (gap of -8.42%) and well below its MA200 (-36%).
It is moving around its support level at €2.65, a level that the RSI at 34 places in a weakness zone without breaching it. The company is listed on two markets: the ordinary share in Paris, eligible for the PEA, and the ADS traded on Nasdaq, which represents the same security. The last known closing figure on the American side is not disclosed here; the two lines are arbitraged on the basis of a ratio of one ADS for one share.
Strengthened Cash Position and Limited Visibility Through Mid-2027 in the First Semester
The first half 2026 accounts, published on July 29, show no revenue, compared to €4.5 million a year earlier. Cash position stands at €166.1 million as of June 30, following a €103 million capital offering and a €75 million financing operation announced on June 2. However, the company specifies that this cash covers its requirements only until the end of the second quarter of 2027 without additional financing. A tranche C that could provide up to €20 million and the exercise of warrants that could generate up to €116 million are among the cited levers. In the market, analysts' consensus remains the benchmark to follow, while the share tests the €2.65 support after a very difficult month.
