Latécoère to Supply Cockpit Panels for Airbus Helicopters' H175 Anti-Icing Configuration
Latecoere announced on October 13, 2026, that it has been selected to equip the new anti-icing configuration of the H175, dubbed the "Full Icing Protection System" (FIPS).
According to the press release, this configuration was designed to expand the helicopter's operational envelope in icing conditions.
Additional Control Panels for the H175 in FIPS Version
Latecoere has been selected by Airbus Helicopters to supply additional cockpit control panels ("Cockpit Control Panels", or CCP) as part of the H175 program, equipped with its new FIPS configuration. The press release describes this selection as a "contract award".
The H175 is Airbus Helicopters' twin-engine helicopter in the super-medium category. It is operated for offshore transport, search and rescue operations, public service missions as well as VIP transport.
The FIPS configuration aims to enable operations in demanding weather environments, particularly in regions exposed to harsh climates.

The panels supplied by Latecoere will contribute to the management, monitoring and control of essential aircraft functions. They are located at the interface between pilots and onboard systems.
As such, these equipment must meet requirements for reliability, robustness and compliance with certification standards. The Toulouse-based group attributes this activity to its historical business of wiring systems and onboard equipment.
An Award Inscribed Within an Existing Partnership with Airbus Helicopters
This contract is part of an existing partnership between the two groups. François-Xavier Choussy, head of sales and programs for the EMEA region at Latecoere, stated that it "marks an important milestone in our relationship and opens a new chapter in our collaboration".
Listed on the B compartment of Euronext Paris, Latecoere is present in 13 countries. The group employed more than 6,000 employees in 2025 and achieved a turnover of 756.7 million euros for this fiscal year.
